Q. What are the image specifications?
We require your images sized to exactly 1500px on the longest side at 72dpi. All entries must be converted to an sRGB color space and saved as a JPEG no larger than 2MB. We recommend saving your images with a JPEG compression quality setting of 10.
Q. Do I need a model release for each person in a crowd or street image?
Model Releases are required by law in most countries when photographing people. Obtaining a model release from each person in a crowd is nearly impossible. It is standard practice to display a ‘Crowd Release’ sign at the time of photographing. While we do not need to see proof of this at the time of your entry, we may request it at any stage.
